MALA is a Western Australian organisation intended to provide opportunities for people to expand and enrich their knowledge in a friendly, social environment. It is for those who recognise that learning is a lifetime process, desire to keep their minds active and would like to find some practical ways to do so.

MALA provides stimulating learning opportunities in a relaxed environment. For over thirty years in the Perth area (and more recently in Mandurah) we have sponsored stimulating educational studies for mature people. Short courses are held once a week over two ten week semesters each year. Programs are based on an exceptionally wide range of topics delivered by experts in their various fields.
